About me and my practice

I can help if you're experiencing anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem. You might be having difficulties in relationships, stress at work, or coming to terms with life transitions or loss.

Perhaps you're affected by your present circumstances or past experiences; or maybe you want to explore your thoughts and emotions, to learn more about yourself, and to find more self-confidence and fulfilment in your life.

I'll support you as, together, we explore the thoughts and beliefs that might be holding you back, helping you find new perspectives and insights so yiu can move forward. This might involve looking at your current situation, understanding and managing overwhelming or confusing thoughts and feelings, perhaps looking at your past experiences and how they might be affecting your present relationships.

Experience

I've worked in the charity sector, as well as in my private practice, with people from a range of backgrounds, experiencing a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, family issues, grief, relationship difficulties and distressing childhood experiences. I've completed training in bereavement counselling. I'm experienced in supporting clients through the perinatal period and parenthood, with the life changes these can bring.

Qualifications

Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, City Literary Institute;

Certificate in Counselling Skills, Mary Ward Centre;

Certificate in Environmentally-based therapy, Tariki Trust.

Additional professional training:
I've completed professional development training in a range of topics, including: anxiety, bereavement, shame, trauma, existential approaches, climate change anxiety, ADHD awareness; perinatal, postnatal and parenting support.

Additional Information

Perinatal and parent support

I worked as a parenting mentor then as a counsellor for Home Start, the UK-wide organisation helping families through difficult times. Im experienced in supporting parents through the perinatal and postnatal periods of parenthood, and can offer one-to-one therapy for new parents navigating the life changes these can bring.

Climate change and eco-anxiety

I'm also a qualified ecotherapist. I offer support for people experiencing anxiety about ecological issues and climate change; as well as online sessions UK-wide for this, I provide sessions outdoors in central London parks, where walk and talk can offer connection with nature alongside a supportive space for individual therapy. I understand it can be difficult to look for support and choose the right therapist, so I offer a complimentary introductory call for you to let me know your needs, hopes and aims. Please use the links on this page to contact me and I'll get back to you to arrange a time that suits you.

Fees

My online fee is £50 per session.

Sessions are held weekly and last 50 minutes.

When I Work

I currently work online on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

I sometimes have other times available during the week.
